EMERALD ELEMENTARY HALLOWEEN PARADE & PARTY
MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 This year students will kick-off the Halloween parties with a parade through the gymnasium at 1:30 pm with classroom parties to follow. Parents and community members are welcome to watch the parade! Bleachers will be pulled out for families to watch the students marching through. Once the parade is over, family members are invited to help out with classroom parties and activities (check your child’s backpack for additional information from their teacher). Students will not be wearing costumes in school for the entire school day. Students will bring their costume in a separate bag to be put on just before the parade. Please no face-paint, sprays or dyes worn to school. Face paint must be applied by the child in the 10 minute time allotted for dress. Keep it simple so your child can be successful getting ready as independently as possible. COSTUME GUIDELINES: · No weapons (guns, knives, swords, bow and arrows etc.) · Keep it school appropriate, safe and fun for your child (all other dress code guidelines apply) Comments are closed.
